I am a southern girl who is Kentucky born and bred; a soon to be college gradauate and alpha delta pi alum who is trying to hold on to and cherish my time left in college.

“Do me a favor… Stand up, walk to wherever the nearest window is, and just look outside. You may not know this, but there’s an entire planets-worth of summers, friends, sunsets, street lamps, songs, late nights, great films, and night skies waiting for you. Your life is as amazing as you want it to be, but first, you have to let it be that way. -Chad Sugg”

“It doesn’t matter what people tell you. It doesn’t matter what they might say. Sometimes you have to leave home. Sometimes, running away means you’re headed in the exact right direction.”

“Imagining the future is a kind of nostalgia. You spend your whole life stuck in the labyrinth, thinking about how you’ll escape it one day, and how awesome it will be, and imagining that future keeps you going, but you never do it. You just use the future to escape the present.”

let us ride this wave and then greet the sun
and though the ground may shake and we?ll think
we?ve had enough
we must raise our flags for the ones we love.”
